So, once you recognize that you need to understand 
marketing, start marketing or do better and more   effective Marketing in your business, where do you 
start? You start right here in marketing School! In this video I'm going to do three things: 
firstly, I'm going to show you how to access our   free, that's right, free, marketing school to get 
you started or upskill you in marketing. Secondly,   we're going to show you the structure of it how 
it works and what it can give you, and finally,   we're going to show you a marketing knowledge 
roadmap to make you an effective marketer.   Okay, let's go! So firstly, how do you access 
our free marketing school to get you started   in marketing or upskill you in marketing? A couple 
of options, click on the link below on the screen,   there's a link in the description of this video, 
a working link, and also pinned in the comments of   this video is a working link to the marketing 
school.

So just click on that it will take   you directly there. Second option is you go the 
directly yourself open your web browser type in www.school.com which will take you to school

dash growth, that is the address, hit enter   and here you, are you're at the free marketing 
School. So here you've got to start, here tells   you how it works if you already have an account 
with school you can click up here to log in   if you want to sign up, here is the sign 
up button top right, simply click on it   create your account, it's very simple, you have 
an account with school.com, first name, last name,   email, put a password normal process. Sign up, it 
takes literally 10 seconds and then you're in. So   that is how you access and continually log in to 
school.com where the marketing school is hosted.   So, I'll show you the actual School, how it works 
and what it can give you.

So, over here, we have a   community, so there's other people you can ask 
questions Etc but the actual school is here,   in classrooms, you click on classroom and here

fundamentals. Once you are clear and solid on the   principles and fundamentals of marketing, you can 
go ahead to make your marketing plan and do all   of your activities in marketing, so you just click

The three big topics is an overall introduction   to marketing, which you definitely need to get 
clear on what it is. Brands and branding and then   the marketing plan, which is once you have your 
basics, you make your marketing plan, which you   then execute, otherwise you're just doing random 
activities, so if we look at introduction to   marketing here's all the topics starts with what 
is marketing, so you have a video, you click on   it, explains everything you need to know, below 
that is a description of what's in the video of   what we're talking about; and then there's links 
to resources, so further articles or templates or   downloads or pages or anything else that could be 
useful for resources you, download here and then   you can post about it you can discuss it with 
other people.

Obviously, it's just launched,   so there's nothing here so far but that's 
how each section works: video, description,   download resources that are useful to you, so you 
go through the structure here what is marketing,   what is a simple definition of marketing for you 
to use what is the value of marketing, so you know   what you're doing and you can explain it to other 
people and then you're already marketing 101 done!   Complete module on marketing 101 done for you, 
then you can get to a bit more detail what is   B2C marketing what is B2B marketing what is the 
difference between B2C and B2B and what is the   B2B2C Business model and marketing implications; 
and with that you've done an entire module on the   introduction to marketing, you really understand 
and upskill already what marketing is and you can   start to think what do I need to do with all of 
this.

Then you move on to Brands and branding,   so if you have a brand that's important, if you 
don't have a brand you actually do have a brand,   even if you are the business interacting with 
people you are the brand, so it's good to   understand what your brand stands for and how 
much you want to develop it and if you do want   to develop a fully branded offer tells you 
how to do this understanding branding basics   everything you need to know about Brands branding 
and fundamentals so this description tells you   exactly what it is tells you what's in the video 
definition, assess your business, where do Brands   come from the role the brand plays in business 
and some case studies around apple and Ikea.   So that tells you the basics and fundamentals of 
branding and then you go into how to actually make   a brand, I give you the 10-step process to do 
this, some rules and traps developing Brands to   watch out for and the 11-step process to manage a 
brand on an ongoing basis, and that is everything   you need to know about Brands and branding, all 
there for you, for free, then you move on to your   marketing plan so we start with how to actually 
create a marketing plan.

I give you the six   steps to do this in videos plus downloads. I give 
you a template to assess your business against   these steps. Any templates that are useful to 
you, I give you, I give you a video on how to   audit your marketing plan and then a method and 
a process to actually complete your marketing   plan and that gives you the marketing plan. 
So already from that you have you know what   marketing is you know what brands and branding is 
and you're able to start your marketing plan and   that already is a complete course on marketing, 
beyond that we can get into more detail so going   to the steps of the marketing plan process, so 
then how do you really understand your customer,   the people you are targeting, how do you analyze 
your business and the market you compete in,   how do you identify issues and opportunities, 
how do you develop the plan in more detail,   so for example, a really detailed pricing plan, 
a really detailed Channel or distribution plan,   if that's relevant to you, a detailed 
promotion plan, Communications plan,   really getting more details with more analysis 
and better stronger tools with these things.   How do you implement the plan, because a plan 
badly implemented will not get you what you want,   execution of an okay plan beats bad execution of 
a great plan, so it's very important to implement   the plan well and link to that how do you track 
measure and review, I give you all of this, it's   all here, and that is how the marketing School 
works.

So you just log in, watch the videos,   read the description, download what you need 
start the work for yourself, it's that easy   and simple. So lastly, I talked about a marketing 
knowledge roadmap to make you more effective in   marketing and better in marketing over time, 
so if you go back here to the classroom,   sure marketing school, I will just keep adding 
to it over time, more and more modules, more   and more materials, more templates, I will keep 
adding over time and building up the community;   you can go back to the community, 
ask questions, interact with people,   reach out to people directly, share knowledge,

Because marketing can just keep   adding value and profit to your business, if you
